Ways to Integrate Technology iN classroom




All teachers and students who face the daunting challenge of integrating the many facets of computer technology into their daily lessons. Computer usage goes well beyond simple word processing and games. In business, computers are indispensable productivity and presentation tools. The Internet provides new modes of communication, easy access to vast information and multi-media resources, and allows us to become instant publishers.

Teachers can create interesting and interactive lessons that can be easily modified. Students can design and present research projects in a new and exciting format and learn more about computer usage and applications.



Hyperstudio is a software package for creating your own multimedia projects and presentations. It is designed for non-technical users and supports color, live recording of sounds, animation, Quicktime, laserdisc, and CD-ROM.






Placing documents on the web is a new and exciting format for publishing documents. You can produce creative web sites using plain HTML or any web publishing software appropriate to your ability and skill level. Teachers can design web sites that contain their assignments for the week, goals for the year and pictures of their classroom. Designing a web site could be a year long activity for an entire class. Thus, i learnt that there are many ways to integrate technology inot he teaching learning. what matter is how you are exploiting it. The way that you maximize the usage of the software actually reflects your intelligence in integraating hte technology. Well, i hope that i am intelligent enough to manipulate all what i have learnt in this course in order to produce a good teaching and learning packages for my future students in schools!!
